DAY 1. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20 – NEW YORK/ACCRA
Your destiny with Africa begins today as you board your transatlantic flight headed for the “exotic continent. Depart on United Airlines flight UA 4292 departing Buffalo at 2:55pm, arriving in Washington at 4:21pm. Connect with flight UA 996, departing for Accra at 6:40pm. NOTE: Check-In begins 5 hours before departure and closes 2 hours before take off. Because of the emergency security measures instituted lately all International Check-in requires you to arrive at least 3 hours before flight departure to ensure enough time for your personal check-in, luggage processing, immigration and security clearances. You are allowed to check-in 2 pieces of luggage free, each weighing 50lbs or less, and 1 carry-on weighing 12Ibs or less. Please remember your passports, and any visas required. We provide free visa service, however visa fees charged by the Embassies must accompany visa applications plus required recent passport photos and a valid passport. Yellow fever vaccination is required to enter Ghana; please consult your physician.

DAY 2 FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21-ACCRA-GREATER ACCRA REGION
Arrival in Accra at 9:25 am.
Meet greet and transfer to the hotel to check-in. The rest of the day is for rest and relaxation. Welcome dinner at a selected restaurant or a private home. Return to the hotel. Overnight. Accommodation: Oak Plaza Hotel or Similar. Meals: Dinner

DAY 3. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22: ACCRA
Accra City Tour: Visit the Ghana National Museum, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum (Museum), Independence Square, WEB DuBois Center. Breakfast at hotel. Accra city tour includes visits to Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum (park and museum tour), Independence Square, and W.E.B. Du Bois Center for Pan Africanism Transfer to the Arts Center Market for shopping. Return to hotel. Prepare for the next day trip to Akosombo. Accommodation: Oak Plaza Hotel. Meals: Dinner
DAY 4. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23: AKOSOMBO-EASTERN REGION:
Travel to Akosombo
Breakfast at leisure. Mid-morning departure for Akosombo. Arrive and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is for rest and relaxation. You may want to visit The Bridge View Hotel for dinner. Overnight. Accommodation: Afrikiko River Front Resort or Similar, Meals: Breakfast.
DAY 5. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24 – AKOSOMBO/ TAFI ATOME.
Visit The Monkey Sanctuary Cultural Village & Agotime Kente Weaving Village. Breakfast and departure for a visit to the village of Tafi Atome. Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Cultural Village is generally well-received, with visitors praising the unique experience of interacting with habituated Mona monkeys and the cultural aspects of the village. Many reviews highlight the friendly monkeys and the opportunity to feed them bananas. The sanctuary is also seen as a positive example of community-based conservation and ecotourism. We’ll thereafter visit the Agotime Kente Weaving Village to observe the artisans weaving the fabrics and purchase direct from them. Some of you may want to try your skills on the weaving looms. OPTIONAL: Naming Ceremony. The cost per person is $50.00. Participants must all wear clothing for the ceremony. Return to the Akosombo. Overnight.

DAY 6. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25: AKOSOMBO
Trip to Boti Falls & Beads shopping at Somanya. Breakfast & morning departure to visit the Boti Falls. Afternoon trip to Somanya Market to shop for exquisite Krobo Beads. Return to Akosombo. Prepare for the next day trip to the Central Region. Overnight. Accommodation: Afrikiko River Front Resort or Similar . Meals: Breakfast.

DAY 7. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26. AKOSOMBO/CAPE COAST-ELMINA-CENTRAL REGION
Spiritual Connection in the dungeons where our ancestors were Kidnapped. Early breakfast and departure for historical Central Region. Arrive and transfer for a tour of Elmina and Cape Coast Slave dungeons. An emotional tour of the dungeons and pass through the “Door of No Return”. The experience is painful but also therapeutic. It will leave an indelible mark on your consciousness. Continue to your hotel and check-in. We will have a Healing session at Mables Table with our brothers and sisters from the Diaspora who have repatriated back to Ghana. Participate in the Discussions of the pros and cons of leaving America.

DAY 8. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27, CAPE COAST-ELMINA-ASSIN MANSO.
Visit the African Diaspora Ancestral Shrine and the River of Last Bath. Early breakfast and depart for Assin Manso. We shall visit the African Diaspora Ancestral Shrine and the River of Last Bath. ROBERT ‘SONNY’ CARSON, Jr. MWLINA “ AB” ABUBADIKA in 1998 brought the remains of his uncle, a Civil War naval officer and Crystal a Jamaican woman who fought against racism were brought back through the Door of no return and intern at the last bath. There is no longer the Door of No-Return; it is now the Door of Return. ABABIO… Return to our hotel for Thanksgiving Dinner and prepare for the next day trip to Mankessim.

Travel to Mankessim and prepare for the next day Ayireye Festival at Nana Modell Gault’s village. Breakfast at leisure. Early afternoon departure to Mankessim. Arrive and check into your hotel. Day of leisure. Explore the town of Mankessim. Prepare for the next day participation in the AYIREYE FESTIVAL. Overnight.

DAY 10. SATURDAY, NOVENBER 29. MANKESSIM/EKUMFI MOBROBOTO
Celebration of Ayireye Festival at Buffalo Sankofa Family and Nana Modell Gault’s village: Breakfast and depart for the village of Ekumfi Mobroboto to celebrate the Ayireye Festival with Nana Odziakopa Kofi Arko VII. Spend the day participating in the festival and meeting with the chiefs and elders. African Attire is Encouraged. We’ll visit the land given to the Buffalo Family under the stool of Sankofa. Return to your hotel in Mankessim.

DAY 11. SUNDAY, NOVENBER 30. MANKESSIM/ACCRA: ACCRA:
Participate in Thanksgiving Service at the village. Your colorful Afrikan attire is recommended. Early breakfast and check out of the hotel before the service. Transfer to the village for the worship service. Journey to Accra after the service. Arrive and transfer to your hotel in Accra and check-in. After freshening up we’ll proceed to a selected restaurant in the city or a Private Home for a farewell dinner. Return to the hotel. Those who traveled on Delta Airlines must prepare for a very early next day trip back to the USA. 0vernight.

Day 12. MONDAY, DECEMBER 01: ACCRA
Leisure day to enjoy as you please. Breakfast at leisure. The rest of the day is for rest and relaxation. Transportation will be available to take you shopping or optional sightseeing. Prepare for the next day trip back to the USA.
Travelers on Delta Airlines will be transferred to the airport at 6:00am to check in for your trip back to the USA. Delta flight DL-157 departs Accra at 9:00am. Arriving in New York at 3:45pm. Connect your flight to your destination.

DAY 13. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 02
Day to journey back home. Breakfast at leisure. Enjoy leisure time for the rest of the morning. The check-out time at the hotel is 12 noon. Transfer at 6:00pm to the airport for your flight. United Airlines flight UA 997 departs Acca at 10:20pm.
DAY 14. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 03
Arrive in Washington at 5:00 am. After clearing customs and immigration, connect to flight UA 4239 departing for Buffalo at 12:50 pm. Arriving at 2:22 pm. All too soon, you are back home, with memories to cherish for life.
